Rare earths are one of those things everyone talks about, but very few people can actually buy properly.
You can buy gold. You can buy silver. You can even get copper exposure without too much trouble. But rare earths are more awkward, more obscure, and much more tied to processing, geopolitics, and the race to build supply outside China.
That is why the new ETF caught my eye.
It is small, early, and focused. And that matters. Because if this thing starts attracting money, it has to buy the underlying names. In a sector full of smaller, less liquid companies, that can become its own little engine.
So in this video I look at:
• why rare earths are about processing as much as mining,
• why ex-China exposure matters,
• what is actually inside,
• and why a small ETF in a niche theme can sometimes matter more than people think.
This is not a recommendation. It is raw material for your own thinking.
